Issei becomes Breakdancing World Champion

Issei was crowned the Red Bull BC One World Final champion 2016.  This is the first time a Japanese B-Boy was won this event.

This is the 13th year that Red Bull has organized this event, and this year it was held in Nagoya Japan. There were actually 3 B-Boy’s representing Japan and Issei was able to overcome 2 time world champion Hong 10 to grab the title.

Issei was quoted as saying, “To be honest, since the final was held in Japan, I was under a lot of pressure, but what really helped me was the cheers from the fans. That really helped me to push harder, go further and clinch the title.”
